IMPACTO Prayer Request
Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008 ... 12:30 p.m.
Please keep Pastor Luis in your prayers. He is in Guatemala and will be preaching tonight and tomorrow in Zacapa. The pastor of the San Jorge church is really excited about this weekend's services and is expecting a lot of nonbelievers to attend. Pastor Luis asks that we pray with them for a good harvest of souls for the Kingdom.
Guatemala has had 24 hours of rain and a lot of areas, especially along the Pacific, are underwater. Pastor Luis and Papi are now driving to Zacapa and also ask for your prayers for traveling mercies. They are not sure how the roads will be since parts of Zacapa also had flooding, even though they are on the Atlantic Ocean side of the country. Let's keep our Guatemalan brothers and sisters lifted in prayer as they are dealing with heavy rains and flooding. We all know that mudslides often occur during these rains so let's ask for God's protective hand to keep everyone safe.
And, let's not forget to keep those who are in the path of the tropical storms and hurricanes hitting the U.S. in our prayers, too.
Hope your weekend church services are Spirit-filled.
Blessings in Christ,
Sarah
