IMPACTO: November 9 Ministry Update
The Guatemalan National Board, District Superintendent Carlos Rivas, and the IMPACTO team want to share with you a praise of what the Lord did last week through missionaries serving in Guatemala City.
Five different churches from Alabama, Maryland, Maine and Virginia came together to minister. We ministered through VBS sessions to more than 1,400 children in two different churches each day [at one church in the morning and one in the afternoon]. The most exciting thing was to see a wonderful harvest of more than 250 kids! The seed has been planted in many, many little hearts. We pray that one day the seed will bloom and bear much fruit. The Lord also allowed us to simultaneously minister to more than 160 ladies combined from both churches. Dinora translated the women’s conference and several of the ladies gave their hearts to God.
Thank you for your support and prayers. Please continue to pray for us this week as we are ministering in 8 different churches in the Lake Atitlan area. We have already seen children giving their hearts to the Lord on the first day. We praise the Lord for giving us the honor of helping to bring more souls to Him.
Also, I would like to ask for your prayers for me personally. I am having some medical issues and had some tests done last week and am facing some more next week. Please pray that God will guide the doctors, that He will give me peace and strength to continue daily working for Him and expanding His Kingdom.
Next week we will be ministering through VBS in Zacapa! This weekend as we say goodbye to the wonderful teams that have been ministering here this week, we say hello to another two teams that will arrive and head off to Zacapa!
Please keep all our VBS missionaries lifted in your prayers and also pray that hearts will be softened and turned over to Christ for eternity.
Thank you again for being a part of my support team, your prayers are a huge help.
