A college team from 12Stone Church has been here this week.  This morning one of the girls has been diagnosed with appendicitis and requires immediate surgery.  Pastor Luis just called to say that her appendix has ruptured and we all know that is extremely dangerous.  They are prepping her in for emergency surgery now.  We have been in contact with Shawn Janes, 12Stone's Missions Director and informed him of the situation.  Shawn asked that Luis take the girl to the best hospital in Guatemala City and that was done.  The doctor is a Christian and he said that we should all pray because the girl is very, very sick.  There are three others on the team who do not feel well this morning either.  The team is supposed to depart at 12:31 p.m. today.  Please pray with us and ask anyone you know to pray with us for this girl.  Also to pray for the team as they are all so worried about their team mate.  I will keep you posted as I learn more.  Thank you.
