Antonio's heart stopped during surgery and the doctor had to put a pump on to keep him alive. The pump will remain on all night and his chest will be left open for observation of how well the circulation is through his heart. That is the latest we know. Please keep Antonio and the family lifted in prayers.


TODAY's EARLIER UPDATE: Antonio has been in surgery since early this morning. The doctors have told Tony that they are doing all they can but no promises. Antonio is bleeding too much and more platelets have been requested. A large mass was found and a biopsy taken and sent for tests. Please be in prayer that the surgeons can get the bleeding under control and also that the mass does not prove to be cancerous. Will send another update when surgery is over. Also, just wanted to let everyone know that we have reached the $10,000 need to pay for the surgery. Thank you so very, very much for you outpouring of love for the Mendez family.
